Homemade turkey noodle soup was the supper of choice the other night. The temperature was -29 and that was without the wind chill.
That warm soup hit the spot. Along with the soup I decided to make baking powder drop biscuits. My trusty Heart Healthy Bisquick helped me make a quick batch of cheesy-buttery biscuits. I stirred a cup of shredded cheddar cheese into the batter before dropping on the cookie sheet.
When I brought the meal to the table, Kidlet Three exclaimed,
"Oh good, I love those buns"
Obviously I need to make buns versus biscuits more often!
